by - August 18, 2018

I have been saving these beautiful hairstyles pins on Pinterest lately, and have got a great response from the audience. If you use Pinterest, then you must have seen these hairstyle pins floating around, just calling you to pin them to your board. One of my favorite kind of hairstyle pins to re-pin are the ones with scarves incorporated into them! So, for today's blog post I thought I'd show you guys 8 unique ways to style headscarves or bandanas..

1. The Boho Chic Headband

Imma be honest with you on this one, it can be a little hard to pull off. BUT.... If you've styled you've styled your hair properly or have set up the right hairstyle, it can look really chic. This picture below is one of my most repined pins of all time.. That says something. Anyways, the picture below is derived from Byrdie, where they show you how to style "beach hair" so if your interested here's the link:https://www.byrdie.com.au/bridget-malcolm-beauty-interview

2. The Braided Updo

This one is probably my personal favorite out of all. This one was done on Rosie Huntington Whitley by Christian Wood. I absolutely love it, I haven't really seen this hairstyle until I saw it floating around on pinterest! If you'd like to get this look, you'll find the video tutorial here: https://roseinc.com/french-braid-christian-wood/

3. The Half Up + Braid

Another great boho-chic looking hairstyle achieved by curling the hair with a large wand, gathering the top section of your hair while leaving a piece of it in the middle to braid, and then combining it into a messy little half bun. And, last but not least, tying your bandana around it all.

4. The Simple Low Pony Tail

Another Great way to style a bandanna/scarf, This looks especially chic with the thick gold hoops. You could wear this hairstyle with a white button down tee and light blue jeans for a summery, fresh look overall.

5. The Messy High Bun

This one is probably the easiest and most effortless one in this list, yet it looks so put together.  If you've got bangs going on then bring them to the front and straighten them. Use a silk bandana to achieve this look. I've linked this particular one from free people down below.

6.  The Messy Low Bun

The sister of the messy high bun, if you liked the last one then this one's for you..

7. The Braided Bun

This one is very easy to achieve.. all you've got to do is loop in the silk scarf with your hair the and braid away. Complete the bun with some Bobby pins and take out some strands from the front for am effortless look.

8. The Long Scarf in Bun

This one is a fancier and slightly more complicated  version of the braided low bun. Incorporate a long scarf into any fancy updo by doing the same thing as you would the braided low bun by looping the scarf through your hair tie..
